I spent the past week thinking of what to get for Father’s Day. Coming up with Father’s Day gift ideas is certainly not as simple as it sounds. You should look at the stumped faces of my friends. I finally found one that would suit my father. It’s a Van Heusen Solid Silk Tie that is being sold on Amazon.com for US$19.90 only.

I would say that there are quite a few ties that are cheaper and more fashionable than this Van Heusen Solid Silk Tie BUT Van Heusen is an old label that my father could relate to. I remember that he had quite a few articles of clothing from Van Heusen so yeah, this would make a good Father’s Day gift because he would not recognise the other more modern brands.

My friend says that ties and cuff links are gifts for fathers of the past and I should get something modern like gadgets. Well, my father even has problems using his mobile device fully!
