Shopping for deals and bargains online is not as easy as it sounds. You know why? Because the stocks go off so fast by the time I write up a post, I would get the “out of stock” notice and I don’t want to publish my post on my blog anymore. Yes, it happened to me a couple of times.

This past week, I bought two pairs of sandals. I bought them from local retailers and not online because I have odd size feet (Size 6.5) making it difficult to shop online. I need to try them out at the store before buying them of they would end up in my closet, unworn.

Anyway, after buying the sandals, I went online to check if I got a bargain. They were already on sale, but you never know. During my web surfing, I chanced upon Target’s clearance sale and I saw this very sweet pair of wedge sandals. You know wedge sandals are really popular nowadays. And the best part is that it is only sold at US$3.74, a discount of 75%. Normal retail price was US$14.99. Tell me this is not a tremendous bargain?

Lane Bryant is a very popular retailer in the United States that cater to plus-size women. The good news is that they are holding a clearance sale to make way for the new season.

HHmmm some people frown on purchasing off season fashion but I am not someone who cares too much about that. As long as I can get hold of an item that I like, especially a branded item, at a lower than normal price, then I am happy.

At the clearance section of Lane Bryant website, I noticed that not only do they have plus-size women’s apparel, they also have accessories, shoes and handbags. I am surprised that the normal retail prices for Lane Bryant items are pretty steep since I don’t shop for plus-sizes.

However, if you do, you can easily calculate how much you will be saving since they list the normal and sale prices. From what I see, shoppers get to save at least US$10 to US$30 per item. Happy shopping!
