I bought two pairs of footwear last month; one high end pair for formal occasions and one cheaper pair for daily use. I actually went to a lot of shoe stores online and offline to look at the current fashion and compare prices. After two pairs, I still feel as if there are so many more beautiful pairs of shoes that I would like to buy. The only thing that’s stopping me is that I know I will never get to wear them as often as I would like!

This morning, I went online to look for discount footwear and by chance came upon a clearance sale at Kohl’s. Some of you may be aware that Vera Wang, the fashion designer best known for her wedding gowns, has a partnership with Kohl’s where some of her designer items, with a lower-end price are sold exclusively by Kohl’s online and offline.

Simply Vera, as this line is known, received quite a bit of negative comments by people expecting Vera Wang quality at these low prices. Whatever the case, different people have different expectations.

Anyway, Kohl’s is running a clearance sale at their online store and one of the items sold at a discount is Vera Wang’s Simply Vera Urbane Peep-Toe Heels. The original price was $59.99 and it is now sold at $11.99 only. It’s an amazing savings of $40!
