When I was in school, I used to read a few hundred books a year. My parents encouraged us to read from young but they did not understand how we could read so many books and yet had no interest in school books. LOL I get sleepy as soon as I hold those text books. I wonder if I am the only one!

Now that I am working, I no longer have the luxury to read. I don’t even get to read a page, let alone a whole book but I still continue to buy books, especially bargain books, telling myself that I WILL have the time to read once my life is not as hectic.

Well, I still have yet to find the time for books. I miss books but I may have to wait till I am retired before I get to lay my hands on a book!

Exclusive pearl earrings from Lands’ End

This morning, while looking for a gift for a dear friend, I chanced upon a pair of exclusive pearl earrings from Lands’ End. I remember receiving Lands’ End catalogue for a number of times a long time ago. And I was so taken by their range of products that I would pretend to place orders for a few items. I “placed mock orders as I was only a kid and didn’t have any money! LOL

Lands’ End is currently selling this pair of pearl earrings for US$22.99. It was US$39. The color is of “pearl” color and has a 14K yellow gold clasp and hook. It’s so beautiful but I am not an accessory person. Besides the friend that I intend to get a gift for is a guy!
